  1. OCPR Tai Chi Fundamentals Winter Session

    February 19, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM @ Dogwood Village Senior Living Wellness Room

    OCPR’s next Tai Chi Fundamentals Session begins Jan. 8 and will continue for 8 weeks of classes, ending on Mar. 5 (no class on Feb. 12). Have fun learning this graceful, slow moving form of exercise that has ancient roots tracing back into the depths of Chinese culture and philosophy of centuries past. Classes are held at Dogwood Village in the Senior Living Building Wellness Room on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Signups for our ongoing Tai Chi programs are accepted at any time during a program. The registration fee for this program is $95. Open to adults. You can sign up anytime, but you must register before attending.

  2. OCPR Acoustic Guitar Lessons - Adult Class

    February 20, All Day @ Sedwick Building Upstairs Conference Room

    Did you find a new guitar under the tree? Want to learn how to use it? OCPR is offering youth acoustic guitar lessons! Classes will be held in the Sedwick Building upstairs conference room (this is the same building as the OCPR office and the Orange Public Library) on Wednesdays, Jan.9-Feb.7, 2019. Classes will be held from 5:30-6:15pm. The registration fee is $90. Students should provide their own guitar, but other materials will be provided. Pre-registration is required and space is limited. Registrations received after the 12/28/18 deadline will be charged a $10 late fee. A youth class is also available, please visit our winter youth programs page for details.

  4. OCPR & OOY Financial Well-Being Seminar: Saving for College & Retirement Planning

    February 21, 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM @ Orange Baptist Church

    Join us for a seminar on February 21st to help you improve your financial well-being. Seminar topics will include "Saving for College" and "Retirement Planning." This program is being graciously hosted at Orange Baptist Church. Partner’s 1st & Wealth Preservers, Inc. will provide knowledgeable instructors, and free childcare and dinner will be provided courtesy of the Orange County Office on Youth. Pre-registration (by Feb. 15, 2019) is required in order to guarantee childcare and dinner.

  5. OCPR Introduction to Archery

    February 23, 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM @ Booster Park

    In our one-day introduction program, we will: introduce the sport of archery, learn range safety, learn basic shot technique,and play fun archery games. This program is intended to introduce interested children to the sport, as such, it focuses on safety and fun, but does not delve too deeply into advanced technique. The instructor for this program is USA Archery certified. All equipment will be provided, and the program will take place at Booster Park on February 23, 2019. Registration is due by February 8, 2019. Space is limited, and registration will close once the maximum number of participants is reached, even if before the deadline. Any registration received after Feb. 8 will be assessed a $10 late fee.
