  1. OCPR Spring Chess Clinics

    April 25, 2017, 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM @ Town of Orange Public Works Community Room

    This program will help develop an interest in and understanding of the game of chess for your young player. A basic understanding of how the pieces move is recommended, but not required. This program will take place once a week (on Tuesdays from 5:30-7:30pm) for four consecutive weeks (April 18-May 9) at the Town of Orange Public Works Community Room on Warren Street. The instructor for this program, Paul Harris, has over 25 years of chess instruction experience including coaching scholastic chess teams to regional and state tournaments. The registration fee for this program is $50. Pre-registration is required and space is limited.

  2. OCPR Tai Chi Fundamentals - Spring Session 2 Begins

    April 25, 2017, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM @ Dogwood Village Senior Living Building Wellness Room

    OCPR’s next Tai Chi Fundamentals Session begins April 25, 2017 and will continue for 8 weeks of classes. Have fun learning graceful, slow moving form of exercise that has ancient roots tracing back into the depths of Chinese culture and philosophy of centuries past. Classes are held at Dogwood Village in the Senior Living Building Wellness Room on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Signups for our ongoing Tai Chi programs are accepted at any time.   3. Michael's Mile: Now in Color (RESCHEDULED DATE)

    April 30, 2017, 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM @ Booster Park

    Michael’s Mile is a Fun Run to benefit the Michael’s Gift Youth Activities Scholarship Program and the OCPR Foundation. It will be held at Booster Park, behind the Orange County Airport on Route 20. This year’s event will feature color powder, that’s right, color powder! A white Michael’s Mile t-shirt (a perfect canvas for the color powder) is included with registrations received on or before 4/14/17. This event is open to all ages. Want to bring the whole family? Great! Register up to 6 family members on one form. The registration fee is $15 for high school and older, $10 for K-8. All participants included on one form must be part of the same household.
