Orange County, VA – The Orange County Office on Youth, on behalf of the Orange County Community Policy and Management Team (CPMT) and the Orange Children’s Services Act (CSA), is accepting applications for private provider representatives for the Family Assessment and Planning Team (FAPT) for a two-year appointment starting July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2023.
The Children’s Services Act (CSA) is a law enacted in 1993 that establishes a state pool of funds to purchase services for at-risk youth and their families. The state funds, combined with local community funds, are managed by local interagency teams who plan and oversee services for at-risk youth.
The Orange County CPMT is seeking private providers to join the Family Assessment and Planning Team. The FAPT looks at the strengths and needs of individual youth and families and decides a service plan with families outlining what services to provide. Orange County hopes to attract multiple providers who have a wide range of knowledge and a desire to assist our youth and families.
Interested parties should complete and return all required information noted in the application packet, by Friday, April 30, 2021. Fillable applications are accessible at www.orangecountyva.gov/csa. CPMT will vote on proposed appointments during their May or June 2021 meeting and appointees will be notified immediately to determine FAPT meetings they will be assigned to attend.
