Orange County, VA – The Office of Voter Registration and Elections is committed to helping all eligible registered voters maintain the ability to cast a ballot in the upcoming November 2, 2021, General Election. All voters are encouraged to check their registration and have a plan for voting. To assist you with this, please note the following important information and deadlines below.
Starting on Friday, September 17, 2021, citizens can cast their ballot in person by visiting our office. We will be open for in-person voting Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and, in addition, Saturdays, October 23rd and 30th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. October 30th is the last day to vote early.
Deadline to register to vote, or update an existing registration is Tuesday, October 12, 2021. Citizens may do this online at https://www.elections.virginia.gov/citizen-portal/, can request an application to be mailed, or stop by our office.
Vote By Mail
Citizens can visit https://vote.elections.virginia.gov/VoterInformation to apply online for a ballot by mail or request an application by calling, emailing, or visiting us. Friday, October 22, 2021, by 5:00 p.m. is the deadline to submit your Vote By Mail application.
Vote in Person at Your Polling Place
All normal polling locations will be open on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
