Public Comment Period and Input Session Announced for Proposed Solar Farm Project in Orange County

Cypress Creek Renewables will conduct a 30-day public comment period and public input session regarding the proposed 400-acre solar farm project located on Route 20 in eastern Orange County. The 30-day public comment period will begin on Friday, December 28, 2018, and will conclude on Sunday, January 27, 2019. The public input session will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, beginning at 1:00 p.m., at the Wilderness Branch Library, located at 6421 Flat Run Road, Locust Grove, Virginia.

According to Cypress Creek Renewables, the purpose of this public participation period is to inform the public of technical aspects of the proposed solar farm project, Sol Madison Solar, LLC., and how the standards of the Virginia Permit by Rule process will be met, as well as identify issues of concern, facilitate communication, and establish a dialogue between the owner/operator and persons who may be affected by the project.
