    “SKYWARN® is a national network of volunteer severe weather spotters. The spotters are trained by local National Weather Service Forecast Offices on how to spot severe thunderstorms, tornadoes, hail and flooding. In some parts of the country, spotters also report snowfall and ice accumulation”.

  1. OCPR Wrestling Club

    March 7, 6:15 PM - 7:30 PM @ Hornet Sports Center (Field House)

    Our wrestling program returns this year. Practices begin November 29, and will continue on Tues. and Thur. through March 7, 2017. Practices will be held 6:15-7:30pm in the Hornet Sports Center wrestling room. This program is open to boys & girls currently in grades K-8. Pre-registration is required and the registration fee is $60. In addition to practices, we will hold several matches both at the Hornet Sports Center (field house) and away (within our bordering counties).

  2. OCPR Tai Chi Fundamentals - Spring Session

    March 7, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM @ Dogwood Village Senior Living Building Wellness Room

    OCPR’s next Tai Chi Fundamentals Session begins February 14, 2017 and will continue for 8 weeks of classes. Have fun learning graceful, slow moving form of exercise that has ancient roots tracing back into the depths of Chinese culture and philosophy of centuries past. Classes are held at Dogwood Village in the Senior Living Building Wellness Room on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Signups for our ongoing Tai Chi programs are accepted at any time.
