Litter Control Committee
About the Litter Control Committee
The Litter Control Committee promotes the Adopt-A-Highway program sponsored by the Virginia Department of Transportation, presents programs to schools and groups about litter prevention and recycling, tends a garden spot in the Town of Orange, and works with the Department of Public Works to promote proper waste disposal and recycling within the County.  The Litter Control Committee is funded through a non-competitive grant from the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality and is made up of five citizens of Orange County.
