Acoustic Guitar Lessons
Did you get a new guitar as a gift? Do you plan to get a loved one a guitar and want them to learn to play? OCPR is offering youth and adult acoustic guitar lessons to ring in the new year!  Classes will be held in the Sedwick Building upstairs conference room (this is the same building as the OCPR office and the Orange Public Library) on Tuesdays, January 9 through February 27.  Youth classes will be held from 5:30-6:30pm, with adult classes following from 6:30-7:30pm.  The registration fee for youth program is $80, and it is $90 for the adult program.  Students should provide their own guitar, but other materials will be provided.  Pre-registration is required and space is limited.

Paint Your Pet Art Class
Provide us with a picture of your pet, and we will have a pre-sketched canvas ready for your child to paint and take home! This one-day after school program will be offered at Grymes Memorial School. This class will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 3:30pm-5:30pm.  Space is limited, and the registration fee is $30. You must pre-register and provide us with the photo of your pet in advance. Classes may fill before the deadlines are reached.  Registrations received after the 1/5/18 deadline will be charged a $5 late fee. This class is being offered afterschool at Grymes Memorial School, and is open to any primary or elementary ages child (transportation is not provided).  If your child is interested but cannot attend this class, please call our office at (540) 672-5435 to express your interest, and we may try to schedule additional programs at other locations.

Introduction to Archery
In our one-day introduction program, we will: introduce the sport of archery, learn range safety, learn basic shot technique, and play fun archery games.  This program is intended to introduce interested children to the sport, as such, it focuses on safety and fun, but does not delve too deeply into advanced technique.  The instructor for this program is USA Archery certified.  All equipment will be provided, and the program will take place at Booster Park on February 10, 2018. Registration is due by February 2, 2018.  Space is limited, and registration will close once the maximum number of participants is reached, even if before the deadline.  Any registration received after Feb. 2 will be assessed a $10 late fee.
