Introduction to Archery
In our one-day introduction program, we will: introduce the sport of archery, learn range safety, learn basic shot technique, and play fun archery games.  This program is intended to introduce interested children to the sport, as such, it focuses on safety and fun, but does not delve too deeply into advanced technique.  The instructor for this program is USA Archery certified.  All equipment will be provided, and the program will take place at Booster Park on April 1, 2017.  Registration is due by March 17, 2017.  Space is limited, and registration will close once the maximum number of participants is reached, even if before the deadline.  Any registration received after March 17 will be assessed a $10 late fee.

Paint Your Pet Art ClassActual Student Paintings
Provide us with a picture of your pet, and we will have a pre-sketched canvas ready for your child to paint and take home! This
one-day afterschool program will be offered at GBES, LGPS, and OES.  Space is limited, and the registration fee is $30. You must pre-register and provide us with the photo of your pet in advance.  The three programs are:

LGPS Program: Thur. 5/4/17, 3:45-5:45pm Registration Deadline: 4/25/17
OES Program: Thur. 5/11/17, 3:30-5:30pm Registration Deadline: 4/25/17
Classes may fill before the deadlines are reached.  These are after school programs, so they are open to students attending the program's host school.  If your child is interested but does not attend one of these schools, please call our office to express your interest, and we may try to schedule additional programs.

Spring Chess Clinics

This program will help develop an interest in and understanding of the game of chess for your young player.  A basic understanding of how the pieces move is recommended, but not required.  This program will take place once a week (on Tuesdays from 5:30-7:30pm) for four consecutive weeks (April 18-May 9) at the Town of Orange Public Works Community Room on Warren Street.  The instructor for this program, Paul Harris, has over 25 years of chess instruction experience including coaching scholastic chess teams to regional and state tournaments.  The registration fee for this program is $50. Pre-registration is required and space is limited.
