Planning & Zoning

The Orange County Office of Planning & Zoning is responsible for long-range planning, administration and enforcement of the county's zoning and subdivision ordinances, and administration and enforcement of erosion and sediment control regulations for the county and the towns of Orange and Gordonsville.

The Community Development office personnel provide staff support to the Orange County Planning Commission and to the Orange County Board of Zoning Appeals.
