Meals Tax is a 4% tax that must be collected by every business that sells prepared foods. Registration forms must be submitted to the Commissioner of Revenue and payments must be made to the Treasurer’s Office on or before the 20th of each month.

Checks may be made payable to the Orange County Treasurer.
All new businesses opened in the County of Orange, in which services prepared foods is required to file a Meal’s Tax application with the Commissioner of The Revenue.
