ORANGE COUNTY, VA VACCINE UPDATE 

7/6/2021

The community COVID-19 clinics have been suspended. Please contact the Virginia Department of Health at vdh.virginia.gov or your healthcare provider to schedule a vaccination appointment. 


5/4/2021

The community COVID-19 vaccination clinic scheduled for Friday May 7, 2021 will accept walk-ins. The clinic will be held at Prospect Heights Middle School located at 202 Dailey Drive, Orange, Virginia from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. 

Pre-registration is recommended but not required. To register call Orange Family Physicians at (540) 672-3010. Participants do not need to be a patient of Orange Family Physicians to participate in the clinic. 

The clinic is provided through the partnership of Orange County, Orange County of Fire and EMS, Orange Family Physicians, Orange County Public Schools, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, and the Virginia Department of Health. For more information please call (540) 672-3010.

3/25/2021:

Orange County, Orange County Fire & EMS, Orange County Sheriff's Office, Orange Family Physicians, Orange County Public Schools, and the Virginia Department of Health continue to partner to provide COVID-19 vaccination clinics to residents and workers.

Clinics are available by pre-registration only and follow current vaccination guidelines as determined by the Virginia Department of Health. Participants do not need to be a patient of Orange Family Physicians. All interested persons must call (540) 672-4403 to pre-register. No walk-up appointments will be accepted under any circumstances.

State Information

Virginians may pre-register for COVID-19 vaccinations online at vaccinate.virginia.gov or by calling 877-VAX-IN-VA. The centralized system allows individuals to pre-register for the free vaccine, confirm that they are on the wait list, and learn more about Virginia’s vaccination program.

The call center may also be used by those who prefer to pre-register by phone. The call center is open seven days a week, from 8:00am to 8:00pm.  The call center has English- and Spanish-speaking agents, as well as a call-back service in more than 100 other languages. TTY service is available to assist people who are deaf or hard of hearing. If wait times are long, Virginians can choose to get a call back and avoid having to stay on hold.
