Hexagon Energy is an independent, privately owned energy development firm that believes the path to a clean energy future requires a range of new sources and technologies. We develop projects across six diverse energy solutions with one common goal—powering a clean future.
Over the past 19 years, Hexagon Energy’s principals have played a central role in building the renewable energy industry in Virginia and bringing renewable energy jobs to the Commonwealth. Our principals have advised Dominion on 232 MW of renewable energy purchases and developed nearly 600 MW of operating solar projects across the U.S., including some of the first utility-scale projects in Virginia. We are excited to work with Orange County to develop a locally-based solar project that benefits Virginia communities, rate payers, and landowners.
