Press Release - Planning & Development to Upgrade Systems, Alter Office Hours for Implementation

ORANGE COUNTY, Va. – The Orange County Planning & Development Services Department is pleased to announce their offices will be making significant improvements to the tools used to serve residents. To facilitate training and installation related to the new EnerGov system, it is necessary to implement alternate hours of operation. 

During the times listed below, the offices located at the Community Development Building, 128 West Main Street, Orange, VA, will be closed to the public. Building Inspections and Code Enforcement will continue their daily site checks as scheduled.

Offices will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to noon on the following dates:

    Monday, August 1, 2022

    Tuesday, August 2, 2022

    Wednesday, August 3, 2022

    Thursday, August 4, 2022

    Wednesday, August 10, 2022

    Thursday, August 11, 2022

Offices will be closed from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the following dates:

    Friday, August 12, 2022

    Monday, August 15, 2022

We appreciate the community’s support as we work to improve our future services. EnerGov’s capabilities will enhance Orange County’s award-winning digital services. Along with upgraded digital functionality, in-person services will be streamlined, allowing us to serve residents more effectively across the board.
