ORANGE COUNTY, Va. – Orange County Parks and Recreation (OCPR) recently implemented CivicRec, a comprehensive parks and recreation management software solution. CivicRec allows residents greater visibility into parks and recreation department activities, classes, sports, and youth leagues with convenient online registration and payment options. In the future, it will also allow residents to reserve community facilities, such as pavilions and shelters online.
“Orange County Parks and Recreation is ecstatic to provide online programming and payment options for residents,” said Joseph Falin, OCPR Programs and Facilities Supervisor. “This solution makes it possible for our participants to register and pay for activities in a matter of minutes, while providing up-to-date information on schedules and offerings.”
The software is designed to be intuitive to navigate and easy to use. In addition, it is mobile-friendly, allowing users to search for community activities and events, register, and remit payment even from a smartphone or tablet.
