Public Comment Period is a time for Orange County citizens to speak about any topic of their choice and occurs at the second Board of Supervisors meeting of the month. You may sign up outside the Board of Supervisors meeting room to speak during Public Comment Period at the start of each meeting, up until the conclusion of Public Comment Period (immediately following Public Appearances) at which time the Chairman closes Public Comment Period.

You may request information pursuant to the Virginia Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) by filling out the Orange County Information Request Form and submitting it to the Administration Office via fax, email, online, U. S. Mail Service, hand delivery, or over the phone. Use the link below to access the Orange County Information Request Form in PDF format, or in a form that can be submitted to the Administration Office online via email.
Freedom of Information Act requests will be processed by the County Attorney's Office and Administration Office in a manner and timeframe as established by Virginia Code. .
You may sign up outside the Board of Supervisors meeting room to speak at an advertised Public Hearing. You must sign up in person at the time of the Public Hearing. If you are unable to attend the advertised Public Hearing in person, written comments may be submitted to the Board of Supervisors prior to the time of the advertised Public Hearing.
